Did they acknowledge existence of the PC version and patch the glaring mistakes yet?

Hey cool they didn't fix the multiplayer, or any of the other issues we actually care about. I think that one about the talent points is really the only big one that I'd seen a lot of people complaining about

the multiplayer is probably so fundamentally broken that it won't ever be fixed. or at least that's what i'm assuming. but hey, all five lines of item text. that's useful if you weren't already using the workaround that fixes that

The problem with multiplayer is that some people can host and most can't...and the reason that's broken is because the game/quests go off of the host's progress. So if your buddy that can host is +/-20 levels from you, it's not really fun...

5 lines of text is cool too though

From what I can gather, the lines of text issue could actually be fixed by editing the fonts in a config file, whereas something like being able to host at all can't

Yep. It's some HTML code in a file. Actually it's better to do it this way in my opinion because you can set the size and make it look good on your monitor/resolution set up.

I picked this game up over the huge steam sale. Multiplayer seems to work fine. If anyone feels like dusting this game off, let me know.
