Did they acknowledge existence of the PC version and patch the glaring mistakes yet?

Borderlands 1.01 released.
* Characters that have lost skill points will have the lost points refunded * Clients will no longer lose proficiency progress upon leaving a co-op game * Item cards now display the intended five lines of detail text * Lilith's Phase strike and melee attacks from Phase Walk now function as intended * Voicechat: users can now control volume and individually mute players * Fixed a bug that sometimes caused CL4P-TP to stop progressing during the introduction * Server browser population times have been improved * Server information should now always display the correct plot mission * Benchmarking feature now works as intended * Nvidia 3D Vision visuals now render shadows correctly (requires minimum 195.28 drivers, available from nVidia)

Hey cool they didn't fix the multiplayer, or any of the other issues we actually care about. I think that one about the talent points is really the only big one that I'd seen a lot of people complaining about

the multiplayer is probably so fundamentally broken that it won't ever be fixed. or at least that's what i'm assuming. but hey, all five lines of item text. that's useful if you weren't already using the workaround that fixes that

So if your buddy that can host is +/-20 levels from you, it's not really fun... 5 lines of text is cool too though

Yep. It's some HTML code in a file. Actually it's better to do it this way in my opinion because you can set the size and make it look good on your monitor/resolution set up.

I picked this game up over the huge steam sale. Multiplayer seems to work fine. If anyone feels like dusting this game off, let me know.
