I'm wondering what's going on with the TF2 server. I know I'm not really an active member here but just curious. All I know is it's been pretty dead for the past months which sucks because I really liked playing with y'all. Like, really.

I think interest in TF2 is just starting to run out. People are still playing L4D2 and HoN.
Maybe we'll see some new users on TF2 when the Mac version of Steam launches next month. (it could happen)

My understanding is that we are no longer maintaining (read: paying for) a dedicated TF2 server, as the server had not seen very much usage for several months.
However, as of my recent moving-across-the-country-induced hiatus, several of us had been jumping on random servers together, so there has been some recent community TF2-related activity.

basically, not reason to pay for it without using it
if some cool update comes out and tf2 flies of the charts again, i saved all the stuff i could have it up again in a few hours.
better to hold off and allow us to pay for servers for other things when they come up (or come out, i'm lookin at you natural selection 2)
